I am out to sing songs that will prove to you that this is your world and that if it has hit you pretty hard and knocked you for a dozen loops, no matter what color, what size you are, how you are built, I am out to sing the songs that make you take pride in yourself and in your work. And the songs that I sing are made up for the most part by all sorts of folks just about like you.” ...Woody Guthrie |

Troubadour’s Concert Venues House Concerts and Coffeehouse Concerts are very similar. Both Venues are “not for profit” and are operated completely by volunteers. The purpose of these events are to promote top quality music and the performing artists. They provide a community service by hosting a local listening venue in a family friendly, smoke free environment . Money generated by the sales and donations to the venues are used to compensate musicians and pay expenses related directly to promoting the artist’s performance |

Coffeehouse Concerts
A Coffeehouse Venue will accommodate an audience of approximately 100-200 people. It is usually held in a public facility such as a Church or Community Center. Tickets are sold and attendance is usually open to the public. If co-sponsored by a charitable organization, additional concessions proceeds can also serve as a fundraising opportunity resulting from the sale of Pie and Coffee (or other items) during the intermission. House Concerts
A unique and magical experience, a house concert is an intimate performance in the host’s home and is usually limited to 20-30 people. Attendance is by invitation and donations are requested instead of ticket sales. RSVP is requested for planning purposes. Attendees are requested to bring snacks to share with all attendees. |
